Under the present Terms and Conditions, we understand by:

Author: Any user, person or entity, who registered on the Website with the objective of publishing documents of which he is the author

User: Any person or entity who downloads one or several documents for free on a personal basis

Both Authors and Users of the Website are obliged to read and to accept the Terms and Conditions in order to use the services offered by the Website.

Article 1. Provisions towards Users:

A User has the following obligations:

To enter a valid email address and a valid postcode in order to download documents

To mention the sources of the downloaded documents in a bibliography. This must be done with a link referring to the document or the quoted part of this one

To report any document whose content can be considered as inappropriate or litigious: pornography, xenophobia, racism… to the administrators of the Website so that they can take the appropriate measures

A User is prohibited from:

Exchanging, copying, distributing, publishing, duplicating, reproducing or selling whole or part of a document or any other content obtained via the Website

Uploading a document if he knows or should know that its distribution is illegal or that it violates an existing  confidentiality agreement

Article 2. Provisions towards Authors:

An Author has the obligation:

To fill in the inscription form with valid information in order to obtain the status of Author. Erroneous data posted voluntarily or involuntarily will make the payments due to any Author impossible to execute

To accept that advertising could be inserted in his documents and that the format of the files could be modified

An Author is prohibited from:

Publishing or uploading any information which could be considered as inappropriate.  In particular, any views on religion, ethics, racism, sex… should be treated carefully.

Publishing or uploading any document that violates the rights of intellectual ownership

Publishing or uploading any document or information of which he is not the Author or for which he does not have the rights of intellectual ownership or did not obtain the necessary authorizations

Publishing or uploading any files which contain viruses or any other form of data-processing hacking which would be likely to damage the Website or any unspecified computer

Uploading a document which would contain confidential information or business secrets

Warning to the Authors:

By publishing content on the Website, the Author gives doxmania the right to publish, post, distribute, reproduce, modify or make this content public

This authorization is not exclusive. That means that the Author can authorize any other person or entity other than the Website to use his content.

Authors should be aware that unscrupulous Users could use their documents for plagiarism although such thing is strictly prohibited by the Terms and Conditions

Article 3. Other provisions

The Website does not have any rights, other than specified in the Terms and Conditions, on the document uploaded by Authors. 

The Website cannot be blamed for total or partial losses of data. The administrators of the Website have the right to suspend the access of any User temporarily or permanently without motivation or compensation.

The administrators of the Website have the right to reject any documents without motivation or compensation.

In the event of litigations, the courts of Brussels are qualified. Only the French version of the present Terms and Conditions can be taken into account.
